The 2023 Chassagne-Montrachet Hereditas has a floral bouquet with orchard fruit (apricot blossom) and a touch of melted candle wax. Fine delineation. The palate is fresh and vibrant, very impressive in terms of weight, with a peachy finish that is predesigned to seduce. Pretty floral nuances are present on the agreeably fresh yet ripe aromas of white orchard fruit, rosemary oil and a whiff of petrol character. There is both good volume and punch to the attractively textured medium-bodied flavors that display good length on the nicely dry finale.
