The NV Brut Cuvée de Réserve Grand Cru (base 2022) is a very serious wine. Deep, layered and super-expressive, the 2022-base edition is terrific. It offers notable breadth throughout. Tangerine peel, candied ginger, spice and baked apple tart are some of the many notes that are front and center. I admire the wine's sheer presence. This release is a bit exuberant but also very easy to like. The Cuvée de Réserve is 50% 2022 and 50% the previous year's blend. Dosage is 5.7 grams per liter.
