2024 Meursault, Genevrieres-Dessus, Maison Benjamin Leroux (1.5L)

The 2024 Meursault Genevrières-Dessus 1er Cru was showing a bit of reduction on the nose but there is clearly good intensity here, more than the Charmes-Dessus. The palate is well balanced with a gorgeous texture, better acidity and tension, less creamy in texture with a poised and lengthy finish. Excellent. ~ (94) Neal Martin, Vinous 1-1-2026

A vague hint of natural exoticism is present on the aromas of jasmine tea, anise, the essence of pear, apple and a similarly discreet application of wood. The sleek and energetic middle weight flavors possess a slightly more sophisticated mouthfeel while evidencing excellent persistence on the dry, sappy and balanced finale.
