2024 Corton-Charlemagne, Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey
Mid lemon. Big nose of citrus fruits with dense lemon and pineapple. Ripe and powerful with rich texture and length. None of the mineral saltiness, just ripe and powerful. ~ (17) Matthew Hayes, JancisRobinson.com 12-11-2025
The 2024 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru has a lovely nose: yellow plum, a touch of lanolin, just a hint of dried apricot coming through with time. Fine delineation. The palate is very well balanced with a keen thread of acidity, harmonious and poised, gently building in depth towards its "gras"-like finish. This is very promising and a step up from the previous vintage. ~ (95) Neal Martin, Vinous 1-1-2026
A beautifully layered nose combines notes of green apple and acacia blossom with those of mineral reduction, crushed fennel and discreet oak nuances. The rich and equally attractively textured, if not particularly concentrated, flavors still manage to project impressive power and ample minerality on the lingering finale that is shaped by citrus-tinged acidity. This is built-to-age and a wine that's going to need it. ~ (95) Allen Meadows, Burghound 6-10-2026
From two plots amounting to 0.27 hectares, Pierre-Yves Colin’s 2024 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru lifts from the glass with a deep bouquet evocative of orange peel, white peach, freshly baked bread and buttered toast. On the palate, it is full-bodied and concentrated, layered and textural, with a generous core of fruit and a long, persistent finish. It is another notable success in this cool vintage. ~ (95) Kristaps Karklins, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 2-26-2026
