The 2024 Grand Village was picked from September 25 to October 4. It has a well-defined bouquet with brambly red fruit and briar aromas opening with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins and a lovely, sapid finish. This is light on its feet with a little more substance on the finish compared to its peers. The 2024 Grand Village (Lafleur) checks in as 88% Merlot and 12% Cabernet Franc that's resting in one-third new oak. This vivid ruby, semi-translucent hued effort has pretty red currants and subtle berry fruits as well as subtle floral and mineral-like nuances.
