2024 Chambolle-Musigny, Les Amoureuses, Louis Jadot

The 2024 Chambolle-Musigny Les Amoureuses 1er Cru has quite a hefty reduction on the nose, though like in some other years I find it does not deliver the complexity of the Bonnes-Mares by direct comparison. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. Quite linear in style, this is built around quite peppery red fruit with just a touch of curry leaf towards the finish. Relatively forward for an Amoureuses, it should give up to 20 years' drinking pleasure and drink after a couple. ~ (94) Neal Martin, Vinous 1-1-2026

The 2024 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Amoureuses (Domaine Louis Jadot) wafts from the glass with exotic aromas of peonies, rose petals and spices mingled with notions of raspberries and ripe peaches. This possesses perhaps the most floral-suffused nose in the range with its cool, elegant and pure aromas of the essence of red cherry and a wonderful range of spice elements as well as enough wood to merit pointing out. The refined, even lilting, flavors brim with minerality before terminating in a youthfully austere, dusty and bitter pit fruit-inflected finale.
