Notes of pear, mint, flowers, citrus and boxwood preface the 2024 Aile d'Argent, a moderately weighted, rich and satiny wine that's ample, framed by bright acids with a gently green finish, a consequence of the vintage's climatology. This is a blend of 54.5% Sauvignon Blanc and the rest Sémillon with a pH of 3.05. ~ (91) Yohan Castaing, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 4-23-2025

Beautiful aromatics, this is a gorgeous wine, with white peach, pear, lemon peel, capsicum, sage spices, gunsmoke, apple orchard. Extremely elegant and finessed, builds through the palate, a slow slow build that layers on grated ginger, lemongrass, white pepper, cold ash, gunsmoke... sublte layers that set it apart. Harvest 9 to 20 September. 3.05 pH. 45% new oak. Just 6.5% malolactic only on Sauvignon Blanc, with more lees stirring than in a normal year. ~ (94) Jane Anson, Jane Anson Inside Bordeaux 4-5-2025

Fragrant and floral with citrus and exotic-fruit notes as well. Good depth of fruit. Lively and fresh with line and length. Persistent. Lovely balance. Good potential. Quality but at a price. ~ (17) James Lawther, JancisRobinson.com 4-8-2025

A little more strict than other Left Bank whites, the 2024 Aile d'Argent has a bright nose with lime flower, Conference pear and light peach skin scents. The palate is well balanced with a citrus-infused entry, a keen line of acidity and a dab of ginger on the finish. ~ (91) Neal Martin, Vinous 5-30-2025

The 2024 Aile d'Argent is very fine. Silky, aromatic and brisk, the 2024 is impeccably done. White pepper, chalk, slate, mint, lemon peel and marzipan are some of the many notes that take shape in the glass. Attractive tropical overtones from the Sauvignon Gris add lift. There's a bit more lees-stirring than in most years, and also a bit of malolactic fermentation, both of which work so well within the wine's framework. ~ (93) Antonio Galloni , Vinous 4-29-2025

Complex and bright, showing sea urchins, lemon zest, spices and subtle cream. Medium-bodied with a sense of chalkiness to the middle. Lightly saline and quite long. There is no baby fat here. 54.5% sauvignon blanc, 33% semillon and 12.5% sauvignon gris. Aged in 45% new wood barrels. ~ (97) Zekun Shuai, JamesSuckling.com 5-25-2025

The 2024 Château Mouton Rothschild Aile D'Argent Blanc is beautiful, with crisp citrus, grapefruit and sappy, floral nuances in a medium-bodied, fresh, focused style. I love its overall balance, and it has integrated, clean acidity, and a great finish. ~ (95) Jeb Dunnuck, JebDunnuck.com 5-9-2025
