Here too the cool, pure and airy nose is comprised by the essence of plum cut with hints of spice and rose petal trimmed in just enough wood to notice. The middle weight flavors possess a velvety mouthfeel along with more evident minerality on the firmer, serious and built-to-age finale. Aromas of raspberries, violets, rose petals and spices introduce the 2023 Savigny-lès-Beaune 1er Cru La Dominode, a medium to full-bodied, supple and succulent wine that's deep, seamless and suave, with ripe tannins, lively acids and a long, expansive finish.
