The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Cailleret 1er Cru has some reduction on the nose, as touches of grilled walnut and hazelnut come through with aeration. The palate is well balanced with a silver thread of acidity. It's much more vibrant than the other Puligny Premier Crus with a lightly spiced, quite mineral-driven finish.
