This is also exceptionally floral in character but with earthier and more sauvage nuances inflecting the wild red and dark berry-scented nose. The middle weight flavors are not quite as dense but they evidence more minerality on the sappy, palate coating and impressively long finale. The 2023 Gevrey-Chambertin Cazetiers 1er Cru contains 80% stems, and they shade the fruit profile at the moment. The palate is well balanced and quite stemmy, a little "Dujac" in style. There is fine grip here, with just a slight attenuation on the finish. ~ (90) Neal Martin, Vinous 1-1-2025
