2023 Corton-Charlemagne, Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey

An attractively fresh and airy nose features smoky notes of mostly Granny Smith apple and citrus along with background hints of crushed fennel and wet stone. There is slightly better volume to the seductively textured medium-bodied flavors that exude evident minerality on the sappy, balanced and firmly structured finale. This is not the densest example of CC you will come across but the length is stunningly good plus, as with all of the upper level wines in the range, it is clearly constructed to age so patience is strongly recommended. ~ (95) Allen Meadows, Burghound 6-1-2025

The 2023 Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru reveals aromas of sweet citrus fruit, ripe peaches, freshly baked bread, white flowers and struck match.
