The 2023 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru has slightly more black fruit on the nose, intermixed with sous-bois, tobacco and crushed mineral scents. It has superb delineation but is restrained at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. This is quite an elegant and poised Clos Saint-Denis. Its silky tannins, judiciously spiced toward the finish, seem to stumble, whereas the Clos de la Roche just "glides." ~ (95) Neal Martin, Vinous 1-1-2025

The 2023 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is beautiful, unwinding in the glass to reveal aromas of cherries, raspberries, violets and spices.
