An elegant and very pure nose is both perfumed and airy with its array of the essence of red cherry, spice and a pretty floral hint. The beautifully textured and vibrant middle weight flavors possess excellent punch and detail while exhibiting impressive depth and persistence on the dusty, moderately austere and very firm finale. The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Les Clos de l'Orme has a slightly tertiary bouquet. Blind, I might think there were stems in the blend. There is a subtle marine influence at play. The palate is medium-bodied with slightly chewy tannins, dark berry fruit and brown herbs, but there is just a little hardness on the finish that will hopefully be addressed with bottle age. ~ (90) Neal Martin, Vinous 1-1-2025
