2022 Vougeot, Les Petits Vougeots, Hudelot-Noellat

An elegant, pure and airy nose is comprised by notes of the essence of red cherry, dark currant, violet, lavender and a hint of crushed anise. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the lightly stony and well-detailed medium weight flavors that conclude in a youthfully austere, complex and well-balanced finale. The 2023 Vougeot Les Petits Vougeot 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet with a dark berry aroma mixed with damp loam and iodine scents. This has very fine delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, a sense of symmetry and a linear, quite strict, saline finish. Give this three or four years. ~ (91) Neal Martin, Vinous 1-1-2025

The 2022 Vougeot 1er Cru Les Petits Vougeot is beautiful, bursting with aromas of sweet plums and red berries mingled with orange zest and warm spices.
