This possesses an interesting nose that is at once perfumed yet distinctly sauvage in character with plenty of spice nuances present on the mostly red berry, black pinot and soft earth scents. There is excellent detail and richness to the caressing yet quite powerful medium-bodied flavors that coat the palate with dry extract on the lightly stony, youthfully austere and highly persistent finish where the only nit is a touch of warmth. ~ (93) Allen Meadows, Burghound 1-10-2024
