A bright transparent red color, the 2022 Nebbiolo D'Alba was also tasted as a barrel sample and will be bottled within a few months and released in October of 2025. It’s a fresh and inviting wine on the nose with aromas of lifted licorice, fresh cherries, roses, and fresh fennel. The palate is spicy and pure with white pepper, ripe fruit, fine tannins, and a very even feel throughout. The 2022 Nebbiolo d'Alba Vigna Arione is a gorgeous wine that captures all the personality of this site in its floral, savory and mineral notes. Bright red-toned fruit, dried herbs, mint, white pepper and chalk are beautifully delineated.
