2020 Chateau Nenin

Aromas of cherries, sweet berries, rose petals and orange rind introduce the 2020 Nenin, a medium to full-bodied, pure and lively wine with a deep core of fruit, powdery tannins and a penetrating finish. A very fine yet structured Nenin with racy and linear tannins that run the length of the wine. Black chocolate and orange peel. Medium to full body. Chocolate. Very long. Tight and intense. Bright crimson hue. Ripe but fresh, the Cabernet Franc giving plenty of lift. Palate well defined, the tannins present but finely honed. Long and linear but with adequate fruit and freshness. An estate that seems to have hit new heights as of late, the 2020 Château Nenin is another beautiful, ripe, yet balanced and elegant wine from this château. Ripe black cherries, hints of cassis, leafy herbs, chocolate, and earth all define the aromatics, and it's medium to full-bodied, with fine, integrated tannins and a great finish.
