Cask sample. Very sweet, rich and flattering. Edgy and much more youthful than the Corton-Les Renardes 2019 from this producer. Quite marked acidity and fresh transparency. Here too the menthol character isn't subtle though neither is it especially invasive on the layered aromas of blue and red pinot fruit, spice and prominent earth and forest floor nuances. The rich, caressing and nicely dense medium-bodied flavors possess a sleek muscularity while exhibiting focused power on the delicious, balanced and lingering finale.
