2018 Ruchottes-Chambertin, Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg

As is usually the case, this is less spicy but more floral with its earthy array of sauvage-inflected dark berry fruit aromas. The sleek, intense and attractively textured broad-shouldered flavors possess focused power while the lingering and youthfully austere finish offers excellent depth.
