2016 Gaston Chiquet, Carte d'Or Brut

The 2016 Champagne Millésime Carte d'Or Brut is 60% Pinot Noir and the remainder Chardonnay. It offers fresh aromas of mango, yellow flowers, bread dough, and pilsner, and the palate is dry and focused on a mineral soft stony texture. I enjoyed this as a savory and food-friendly wine.
