A slightly fresher nose freely displays its notes of various red berries, especially cherry, along with subtle spice and soft earth nuances. The sleek, well-detailed and delicious middle weight flavors are not quite as dense though they are noticeably finer and with more minerality too on the dusty, youthfully austere and better-balanced finale. Particularly transparent crimson! Some real richness evident on the nose here, as a pleasing undertow. Positively juicy fruit on the palate but quite structured, too. Still with a hint of oak on the finish. Needs quite a bit of time. Very fresh, health juice. Really opened out in the glass to a sort of superior, savoury raspberry juice.
