2023 Meursault, Santenots, Marquis d'Angerville

A notably more floral-suffused nose is comprised by notes of the essence of pear and apple compote. Once again there is good volume and a caressing mouthfeel to the medium weight flavors that possess markedly more size, weight and depth on the balanced and firmer finale. The 2023 Meursault Santenots 1er Cru is quite effervescent on the nose with finely delineated Satsuma, orange zest and just a hint of nectarine. The palate is well balanced with, again, a slightly honeyed texture. It is less acidic than the 2022 and almost creamy toward the finish.
