2022 Puligny-Montrachet, Les Combettes, Francois Carillon

This is aromatically similar to the Folatières though with the addition of a hint of Granny Smith apple along with a dollop of oak. There is a lovely sense of underlying tension to the lightly stony middleweight flavors that possess a notably finer, even delicate, mouthfeel that carries over to the clean, dry and lingering finale.
