2022 Meursault, Les Genevrieres, Joseph Drouhin
The 2022 Meursault 1er Cru Genevrières opens in the glass with aromas of pear, clear honey, fresh mint, white flowers and buttery pastry. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and layered, it's suave and deep, with a fleshy core of fruit and lively acids. ~ (93) William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 1-18-2024

Wow, beautiful aromas of ripe tree fruit and baking spices lead to a medium body and attractive, broad flavors that are nicely lifted by tangy acidity for great balance. Baked apple, vanilla bean, wet stone and mineral character runs all through it. Drink now or hold. ~ (95) James Suckling, JamesSuckling.com 6-20-2024
Racy and lively and much more expressive than the village Meursault. Lots of depth and attraction here. Real substance and persistence. ~ (17) Jancis Robinson, JancisRobinson.com 11-2-2023
Moderately generous, but not intrusive, wood sets off the subtly exotic aromas of jasmine tea, essence of apple, lilac and acacia blossom. The more refined and elegant middleweight flavors exude evident minerality on the precise, even chiseled, bone-dry and impressively persistent finish. This is lovely and a wine that should age gracefully over the next decade. ~ (94) Allen Meadows, Burghound 6-10-2024
