2022 Mazis-Chambertin, Maison Benjamin Leroux (1.5L)

The 2022 Mazis-Chambertin Grand Cru is 100% whole bunches this year. It has a detailed and focused bouquet with slightly earthy red berry fruit and hints of clove and black tea. The palate is medium-bodied with a bit of chewiness on the entry, but that segues into a pure, slightly candied mid-palate with a pastille-like finish. Delicious. ~ (95) Neal Martin, Vinous 10-1-2023
