2022 Chablis, Blanchots, Domaine Michel Laroche

This is actually quite aromatically similar to the Les Clos if perhaps just a bit more floral-suffused. On the palate though of the sleek and very punchy medium-bodied flavors that is a more heightened sense of refinement if not the same power on the equally mineral-driven, clean, bone-dry and well-balanced finale. This is also firmly compact and in need of better depth so at least 6 to 8 years of keeping should be quite beneficial. ~ (94) Allen Meadows, Burghound 8-10-2023
