2021 Chablis, Vaulorent, Domaine Billaud-Simon

A cooler, more restrained and more elegant nose reflects notes of Granny Smith apples, lemon-lime, iodine and tidal pool wisps. The medium-weight flavors aren't quite as concentrated, but they are markedly finer with more minerality as well on the beautifully chiseled, firm and sneaky long finish. Very pretty and a wine that should age effortlessly over 6 to 8 years. ~ (93) Allen Meadows, Burghound 10-10-2022
