2020 Vosne-Romanee, La Colombiere, Domaine Georges Mugneret-Gibourg

This is aromatically similar to the straight Vosne cuvée but with more pronounced floral elements adding a touch of elegance. The fleshy and seductive but punchy medium weight flavors conclude in a powerful, serious and even more structured finale. I would offer the same observation here that this is also very good but will need at least moderate patience. ~ (92) Allen Meadows, Burghound 1-1-2022

The 2020 Vosne-Romanée La Colombière comes from 70-year old vines. Matured with 25% new oak, this is a little tighter on the nose than the Village Cru with slightly darker fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with pliant tannins, a little more piquancy than the Village with impressive length. ~ (93) Neal Martin, Vinous 12-1-2021

Revisited in bottle, the 2020 Vosne-Romanée La Colombière is performing well, unfurling in the glass with aromas of cherries and sweet dark berries complemented by hints of peony and spice.
