The 2020 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru wafts from the glass with aromas of sweet red berries, rose petals, raw coca, warm spices and orange rind. Medium to full-bodied, rich and concentrated, it's taut and vibrant, with a more tightly wound, reserved profile than the Mazy-Chambertin and Charmes-Chambertin. ~ (94) William Kelley, Robert Parker's Wine Advocate 1-20-2022

Ripe but appealingly fresh aromas reflect notes of cassis, newly turned earth and plum coulis. The succulent, round and velvety big-bodied flavors possess excellent mid-palate density while the sappy dry extract coats the mouth on the impressively powerful and hugely long finish.
