Fantastic nose of ginseng, dried apricots, yellow plums, brown sugar, honey, lemons and tangerine peel. Honeyed and smooth with layers of dried fruit and subtle earthy elements. Orange rind, star anise and treacle tart. Supernatural balance of sweetness and acid leave an electrified palate on the finish. Gorgeously long and stately, with the only legitimate gripe being a lack of complexity compared with its grander siblings.
