2014 Saumur-Champigny, Les Poyeux, Clos Rougeard
Fresh, racy, nuanced, and striking. Ripe aromas and flavors of blackberry, plum, olive and spice throughout, with very fine, whispery tannins, and so much finesse. The 2014 Saumur Champigny Les Poyeux is very aromatic on the nose that exhibits perfectly ripe cherry notes.
